Durant trois ans. Christophe Licoppe, jeune photographe

bruxellois, a arpenté en toute légalité les sommets des

plus hauts immeubles de la ville à la recherche de clichés

exceptionnels.

Les toits de la Cathédrale St-Michel, du Palais de Justice, de

la Basilique de Koekelberg, du Palais des Beaux-Arts, de la

Tour du Midi, etc ... s'en souviennent encore !

Un projet long à réaliser car ne monte pas qui veut sur les

hauteurs des immeubles de la ville !

Toujours prises entre chien et loup pour que le ciel soit le plus

beau possible, ces photographies nous font découvrir la

capitale sous un nouvel angle.

Tant les amateurs de photos que les amoureux de Bruxelles

apprécieront l'oeuvre de ce jeune et talentueux photographe.

Over a three-year period, the young Brussels-based

photographer, Christophe Licoppe, scaled the heights of the

city's tallest buildings - entirely legally - on the look-out for

some exceptional shots.

It is something that the roofs of St Michel's Cathedral, the

Palais de Justice, the Basilique de Koekelberg, the Palais des

Beaux-Arts and the Tour du Midi will not forget in a hurry!

The project was this long in the making because the lofty

heights of the city's buildings are not just open to anyone!

Always taken at the very moment when the sky was at its most

beautiful, these photographs provide an opportunity to see

the capital from a new angle.

This talented young photographer's work will be appreciated

by both lovers of photography and lovers of our city.

Drie jaar lang klom de jonge Brusselse fotograaf Christophe

Licoppe volledig legaal op de daken van de hoogste

gebouwen van de stad, in een zoektocht naar unieke

beelden.

Onder meer het dak van de Sint-Michielskathedraal, het

Justitiepaleis, de Basiliek van Koekelberg, het Paleis voor

Schone Kunsten en de Zuidertoren mochten zich verheugen

op zijn bezoek.

Het werd uiteindelijk een project van lange adem, want je mag

nu eenmaal niet zomaar boven op al die gebouwen klimmen.

Alle foto's zijn gemaakt 'op het uur U' voor een zo fraai

mogelijke hemel, en geven ons een beeld van de hoofdstad

vanuit een geheel nieuwe invalshoek.

Zowel liefhebbers van fotografie als mensen die gek zijn op

Brussel zullen het werk van deze jonge en talentvolle fotograaf

weten te waarderen.
