Illustrateur, graphiste et photographe ukrainien, installé à Moscou depuis près de six ans, Sergey Snurnik appartient à cette nouvelle génération de créateurs qui font émerger la scène graphique moscovite. Son talent pourrait se résumer à la capacité qu'il a d'échafauder un discours satirique empreint tout à la fois d'une rigueur et d'une profondeur esthétiques. Ses portraits de célébrités, d'artistes et de politiques, de Maradona à Fidel Castro, en passant par Winston Churchill, Joseph Beuys ou Jean Tinguely - en sont l'une des expressions.

Ukrainian illustrator, graphic designer and photographer Sergey Snurnik is one of the new generation of creators emerging on Moscow's graphics scene. His talent lies in his ability to construct a satirical message with aesthetic rigour and depth. This is reflected, for instance, in his portraits of celebrities, artists and politicians - a line-up spanning Diego Maradona, Fidel Castro, Winston Churchill, Joseph Beuys and Jean Tinguely.
