Research in Interactive Design

presents an in-depth study of new product design and

manufacturing methods which aim is to support decision-making during design process.

They have recently emerged from transversal researches providing advanced simulation

techniques to allow human to feel, to interact and to act on virtual high-realistic environments

for improving engineering. Interactive design instruments are seen as the extension

of traditional CAD tools.
