Saint Emilion was the second city of the Bordeaux region during its golden age in the 13th century, and from this period it has retained an exceptional heritage, both above ground as well as underground.

For almost 10 years this medieval city has been the subject of university research that has allowed us to better understand its history and architecture. This book aims to share the results of this work with the general public.
