This is the first NEA attempt at a comprehensive international comparison of different methodologies used to estimate operations and maintenance (O M) costs, which have increased for nuclear power plants in the last decade. Cost information from 14 NEA countries is analysed on the basis of a standardized framework of detailed components of O M costs.
