Il faut entendre ici par fantastique une atmosphère particulière, un face-à-face avec le temps, futur antérieur inversé.

Le visiteur qui parcourra Lille et ses artères hors limites sera confronté au surnaturel, au merveilleux, à l'étrange, et parfois à la distorsion du temps et de l'espace.

Le public se frottera les yeux au détour d'une rue, dans le sillage d'une horde de chiens blancs, en poussant les portes secrètes du Tripostal ou de la Gare Saint Sauveur, des musées, des maisons Folie et pourra découvrir des univers parallèles, tantôt poétiques, tantôt high-tech, au fil d'une promenade dans l'Eurométropole transformée en conte fantastique.

Here, the word fantastic means a special atmosphere, a face to face encounter with time, an inverted future perfect.

The visitor exploring Lille and its thoroughfares beyond bounds will be confronted with the supernatural, the marvellous, the strange, and sometimes the distortion of time and space.

People will rub their eyes upon turning a street corner, stepping into the slipstream of a pack of white dogs, pushing open the secret doors of the Tripostal or the Gare Saint Sauveur, museums and Maisons Folie, uncovering a parallel universe by turns poetic and high teck, in the course of a stroll through the Eurométropole transformed into a fantastic tale.
