The inclusion of two new cities in this guide along with Tokyo's
fast moving culinary scene make this year's selection particularly
rich in new discoveries.
For this 4th edition, the Michelin inspectors combed Tokyo,
Yokohama and Kamakura anonymously so that we can
recommend the best restaurants these cities have to offer.
For Tokyo, restaurants that are new to the guide are indicated
by New; while those that have been promoted are indicated
by. Look out for an extensive list of places to eat for 5,000yen
or less indicated by.
