The Santos Palace in Lisbon (now the French Embassy in Portugal) contains a hidden treasure: a small square room with a pyramid-shaped, gilded wooden ceiling, to which nearly three hundred Chinese porcelain plates and dishes, mostly blue-and-white, have been attached. This book is the catalogue raisonné of that unique collection.
