The Causes and the Aftermaths of the Economic, Political and Cultural Migration in the Area of the Caribbean and of Central America During the XXth century.

The work is a scientific study on the causes and aftermaths of the economic, political and cultural migrations in the area of the Caribbean and Central America during the XXth century. This document was sustained at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University (Paris, France) in 1997, by doctor Alfredo Reid Ellis, polyglot.

National of Panama, country of Central America where there was a strong immigration current, and having lived in several countries, the author estimated opportune to contribute his experience on the causes and the effects of the migrations on individuals, as well as in the receiving countries and those of origin.

This work is an appreciable contribution to the knowledge of the region of the Caribbean and of Central America : the contact among the English, French, and Spanish populations of the Caribbean and the indigenous and Spanish of Central America, due mainly to economic factors. In a second time, the movements of the populations for political reasons are exposed.
