The silent speaker
Women and the moon
The silent speaker ... « silent but speaking » all the time, to everybody in the whole world, and particularly to all the women of the world. This book is about the moon and its special relationship with every woman, everywhere on planet Earth. It also discusses the meaning, the implication, the consequences as well as the process, the genesis, the progress and the end of the menstrual cycles women experience every month, every moon, during their mature and productive years.
Besides the possible explanation of the menstrual cycles until menopause around the age of forty-eight, this book relates
the opinions of medical experts and professionals, especially gynecologists and obstetricians, on what women experience and the sort of knowledge about women demanded by their profession.
Unfortunately for those medical experts, the challenges of their profession are largely ignored by astrologers and philosophers who have very little to do with women's biological affairs and intimate medical care. It is certainly true for Dr Eugen Jonas, who said : « One great problem is that gynecologists know nothing about astronomy. Astronomers haven't the slightest information about obstetrics, and both groups believe astrology is the worst sort of superstitious nonsense. »
