The 11 sectoral and thematic studies on regulatory reform published in thesetwo volumes were prepared by the OECD as background to the OECD Report onRegulatory Reform, published separately. The Report on Regulatory Reform waswelcomed by Ministers of OECD countries in May 1997, who agreed to work toimplement its recommendations in their countries.
