How can we better understand the process of job creation and loss, and its significance for policy makers? This publication gives a flavour of new research which is addressing issues as diverse as the effect of entry of new firms, the relationship between technology and skills in firms, and the process of wage determination at the micro-level primarily with reference to the G-7 countries.
