Loving yourself first is a prerequisite for loving others; this is clearly ordained in the two commandments upon which "hang all the Law and the Prophets" (Matthew 22:37–40). This book factually explains the essence of that second commandment, particularly in as far as the love of self being the foundation upon which the love of others is built; one cannot stand without the other !
