The Multifibre Arrangement (MFA) which has regulated trade in textiles, fibres and clothing since the 1970s will have been dismantled by the year 2004. This volume, based on a conference of experts hosted by the OECD Development Centre, demonstrates the likely consequences of MFA dismantlement both for Europe and for developing and newly industrialised countries.
