This IEA Survey is designed to support the Government of the Czech Republic in the achievement of market-oriented, long-term energy policy goals. As a follow-up to the 1992 IEA Survey of Energy Policies of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, the study pays particular attention to energy developments over the last two eventful years of political and economic transition.
