Christiane Desroches Noblecourt uncovers the origins of modem civilization, tracing religion, customs, rituals, and symbols back to Ancient Egypt.

In this work, my intention is to introduce readers to fondamental themes on which our own civilisation is built, without resorting to tiresome academic explanations. In it, Ancient Egypt will emerge as a pioneer in terms of the knowledge, wisdom, and humamty that we hâve inherited from it.
