Analysing trends and policies of foreign direct investment in Finland, this report concludes that national apprehension about it is now a thing of the past. In recent years, Finland has made considerable progress in removing discriminatory regulations against foreign investors. The desire to foster integration into the European Economic Area and the European Communities has boosted this process.
