Quatre ans après le premier congrès international sur l'entraînement en triathlon ( les Cahiers de l'INSEP , n° 20), l'INSEP et l'Union Européenne de Triathlon ont à nouveau conjugué leurs efforts afin de dresser un état des lieux politique, technique et scientifique du triathlon, à trente mois de son intronisation lors des Jeux olympiques de Sydney.

Un congrès salué par la communauté triathlétique internationale, et dont le contenu unique a pleinement justifié sa retranscription par l'INSEP en français et en anglais.

Four years after the first international congress on triathlon training ( les Cahiers de l'INSEP , n° 20), INSEP and the European Triathlon Union have again joined forces to present a state-of-the-art analysis of political, technical and scientific data on triathlon, thirty months prior to its inclusion at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

A congress unanimously celebrated by the European triathlon community, the content of which fully justified a bilingual manual.
