Major works of the XX^th century were created for the

church of a popular district of Audincourt, under the

aegis of Maurice Novarina. This book glorifies the

gold, red and blue mosaic of Jean Bazaine, the

outstanding set of stained-glass windows by

Fernand Léger, and also introduces readers to Jean

Le Moal and Étienne-Martin. Sacré-Coeur Church is

home to a sacrement of colour.
