In the effort to palliate the effects of global pollution, new methods are receiving closer attention. Bioremediation -- the use of micro-organisms to treat pollution -- is quickly becoming a method of choice. This "green" technology exploits the forces of nature and is more versatile, making it more widely applicable than traditional methods.
