Further liberalisation in intra OECD shipping relations, the conclusion of a shipping policy framework between OECD, NIS and CEE countries, worldwide promotion of strict compliance with applicable international rules and standards and preparations for a dialogue with Dynamic Asian Economies were the main objectives pursued in work on international maritime transport in 1993.
