Michael « Nick » Nichols

Photographe au National Geographic , il a consacré sa carrière à des travaux qui ont eu un impact concret sur l'environnement. Le travail de Nick auprès des défenseurs de la nature, tels que Mike Fay et Jane Goodall, a permis la publication de livres, la création de 13 parcs nationaux en Afrique, et de lois sur la protection des chimpanzés. Il fut membre de l'agence Magnum et a fondé Look3, Festival de la Photographie en Virginie. Il vit à Sugar Hollow, États-Unis, avec son épouse l'artiste Reba Peck.

Editor at Large for photography at National Geographic magazine, he has devoted his career to producing work that effects environmental change. Nick's work with conservationists such as Mike Fay and Jane Goodall have resulted in books, the creation of 13 national parks in Africa and reforms in chimpanze conservation. He is a former member of Magnum Photos and founded the Look3 : Festival of the Photograph in Virginia. He lives in Sugar Hollow with his wife, artist Reba Peck.
